Assalamualaikum and hi everyone !
You know with all that is happening in this world, we need to spread kindness even more. Because guys, its really doesn't cost anything to be kind. It doesn't take a lot of effort to smile to people out there. It takes 0$ to say 'thank you' or 'have a nice day' and if there's one person in the world that is the epitome of kindness, it is our Prophet Muhammad SAW. The Prophet Muhammad SAW, even though he was the political or the religious or the economic leader during his time, he was never 'too busy' or 'too important' to be kind.
His kindness was for everyone. Countless of stories have been narrated about the kindness of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. I thought I'll share with you stories about The Prophet Muhammad SAW's kindness.
THE FIRST STORY :
This story was narrated by Abdul Rahman Bin Abdullah Bin Mas'ud. He said that they were on a journey with the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and he (SAW) left them for a while. During his absence, they saw a bird with her two chicks and they took them. Then the mother bird started circling above them in the air- beating its wings in grief because she lost her chicks. And when the Prophet Muhammad SAW came back, he asked them about who has hurt the feelings of the bird by taking its young. He asked them to return the chicks to the mother bird (Muslim).
I love this story very much because he SAW showed us that not are we only supposed to be kind towards our fellow human beings, but to exercise kindness even towards our animal friends.
THE SECOND STORY :
Narrated by Abu Hurairah. Abu Hurairah means father of the cats/kittens (I'm not really sure about this. Correct me if I'm wrong.....) Abu Hurairah was given with this name because wherever he goes, he will always have a small kitten with him (I thought that one was really cute..)
Abu Hurairah said that the Prophet Muhammad SAW was kissing his grandson, Hassan. When a guy name Aqra' was with the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and saw that he was kissing his grandson, and Aqra' proudly said '' I have 10 sons and I've never kissed them once.'' The Prophet Muhammad SAW looked at Aqra' and said, " He who does not show compassion, will also receive none." (Bukhari and Muslim)
I love this story because Aqra' was trying to show off his 'manliness'. He was trying to show that he was tough and strong by not showing any love towards his son, but the Prophet Muhammad SAW, totally dismissed the notion that showing any form of love means 'weakness'. This is one of the many stories where we can see that Prophet Muhammad SAW will outwardly show his love and affection towards his family and towards his companions.
Do a volunteerism job also is a one of the ways on how you shows your kindness towards others.
I'd love to share this quote with you guys :

" The quality of your life will be determined by the quality of your contribution.
When you work to improve the lives of others, your life improves automatically.."
Hopefully, may Allah ease us for our TURDA 5.0 mission, inshaAllah !
